By using this website, booking a session, buying a product or attending an event, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings and payment

Bookings are made through this website, by phone, or by email. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us.
Payment is taken at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise in writing. All prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Some events are sold through third-party platforms. Where that is the case, that platform's terms also apply to your purchase.

3. Cancellations, refunds and rescheduling

These are set out in full in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

4. Your health and suitability

Our sessions are wellbeing and ceremonial practices. They are not medical treatment, and they are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. We do not diagnose, and nothing we offer should be used in place of advice from a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. If you are receiving treatment for any condition, please continue with it.

You are responsible for telling us, before your session, about anything relevant to your safety and comfort. That includes but is not limited to:

  • Pregnancy, or trying to conceive

  • Heart conditions, blood pressure conditions, or a pacemaker or other implanted device

  • Epilepsy or a history of seizures

  • Any current or recent mental health condition, including psychosis, dissociation or acute crisis

  • Recent surgery, injury, or any condition affecting your back, neck or joints

  • Medication you are currently taking, including antidepressants

  • Allergies, including to nuts, latex or any topical product

  • Tinnitus or hearing sensitivity

If you are unsure whether a session is right for you, please ask before booking. We may decline a booking, or adapt or end a session, where we believe it is not safe or appropriate to proceed. Where we do so we will act reasonably and will discuss alternatives with you.

Aerial and floating sessions. Sessions using suspended hammocks have a weight limit of 250 lbs (113 kg). They may also not be suitable during pregnancy, after recent surgery, or with certain back, neck and inner-ear conditions. Please talk to us before booking if any of these apply to you. You must follow our instructions on entering, using and leaving the hammock at all times.

Skin treatments. Ritual Skin Alchemy involves products applied to the skin. A patch test is not required in advance, so it is especially important that you tell us beforehand about any allergies, skin conditions, recent treatments or facial procedures, and any medication that affects your skin. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, or have reacted to a product before, please tell us when you book and we can discuss whether to test an area first.

5. Ceremonial preparations

Some ceremonies include ceremonial cacao. Cacao is a stimulant and is not suitable for everyone. It can interact with certain medications, including antidepressants and MAOIs, and may not be suitable if you have a heart condition. Please tell us what you are taking before the ceremony, and speak to your doctor if you are unsure.

6. Age

Sessions and events are for adults aged 18 and over unless we have agreed otherwise in writing and a parent or guardian is present.

7. Online sessions

Where a session is delivered online, you are responsible for your own internet connection, device and for choosing a private, safe space in which to take part. We are not responsible for technical failures outside our control, but if a session cannot go ahead for technical reasons on our side, we will reschedule it or refund you.
Please do not take part in an online session while driving or operating machinery.

8. Your member account

When you buy a package or book with us, you can create a free member account on this website. It lets you see the bundles you have bought, check what you have left, and book your sessions.
There is no charge for the account and no subscription. You can close it at any time by emailing hello@michellemurray.co.uk. Closing your account does not cancel or refund any package you have already bought — please contact us if you want to discuss that separately.

9. Products

Where you buy physical products through this website, they remain our property until paid for in full. Delivery times are estimates. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by anything in these terms.

10. Venue hire

The Zen Den is available to hire by other practitioners. Hire is arranged through Tag Venue, and that platform's booking and cancellation terms apply to your hire rather than these terms.
Hirers must hold their own valid public liability insurance and are responsible for their own clients, their own equipment and their own compliance with any regulations applying to what they offer. House rules for using the space are provided on arrival.

11. Behaviour and the space

We want everyone to feel safe. We may ask you to leave, without refund, if your behaviour is threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive to others, or if you attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Please arrive on time. If you arrive after a session has begun we may not be able to admit you, as late entry disrupts the group.

12. Recording

Please do not photograph, film or record sessions without our permission and the permission of everyone present. We sometimes photograph events for promotional use, and will always tell you beforehand and give you the option not to appear.

13. Our content

All content on this website — words, images, recordings, teaching materials and session content — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, record, share or teach it commercially without our written permission. Materials shared with you as part of a session or membership are for your personal use only.

14. Our responsibility to you

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, and our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Your belongings

Please take care of your belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost, damaged or left behind at The Zen Den.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.

17. Complaints

If something goes wrong, please tell us at hello@michellemurray.co.uk and we will try to put it right.

18. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
