Accessibility statement
This statement was last updated: 15 September 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website and to come to The Zen Den.
This website
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This website is built on Wix, and some elements are not fully within our control.
We know about the following. We tested this site in September 2026 using WAVE and Google Lighthouse, and found:
-
Images without useful alternative text. One linked image has no alternative text at all, and several others have text that does not usefully describe the image to someone using a screen reader.
-
Low colour contrast. Around 32 elements have text that does not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio recommended by WCAG AA. This is largely a consequence of our colour palette.
-
Links without a clear name. Some links are not announced in a way that makes their destination clear to screen reader users.
-
Small touch targets on mobile. Some buttons and links are smaller or closer together than is comfortable to tap.
-
Headings out of order. Headings on some pages do not follow a strict descending order, which makes navigating by headings less predictable.
What we are doing about it. We are writing proper alternative text for every image on the site, and expect that to be complete within a month of the date above. We are reviewing the heading structure and link labelling alongside it.
Colour contrast is a larger piece of work, because it involves our brand palette rather than individual pages. We are looking at how to improve legibility without losing the feel of the space, and we will update this page when we have.
Some elements of this site are controlled by the Wix platform and are not fully within our control to change.
The Zen Den
Our space is at Unit 13b Springfield Mills, Bagley Lane, Farsley, Leeds LS28 5LY.

-
Step-free access: yes, throughout.
-
Accessible toilet: no. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. We are sorry about this and would rather tell you plainly than let you find out on arrival. If it would help to talk through what the facilities are like before you book, please ask.
-
Parking: on-site parking is available.
-
Public transport: the nearest bus stop is less than a two-minute walk from the mill complex.
-
Lighting: sessions are held in low, candlelit conditions. Tell us if this is difficult for you and we will adjust it.
-
Sound: sessions involve sustained sound at volume, including gongs. Tell us about hearing sensitivity or tinnitus and we will place you further from the instruments.
-
Floor-based sessions: mats, cushions, blankets, beanbags and chairs are available. You do not have to lie on the floor to take part.
-
Aerial hammocks: to get in, adjust the fabric to hip height, open the loop with your hands and slowly sit back into it. We talk you through this every time and are beside you while you settle. There is a weight limit of 250 lbs (113 kg). If getting in and out is something you are unsure about, tell us before you book and we will talk it through, or suggest a floor-based session instead.
Adjustments
If there is something that would make it easier for you to take part, please tell us before you book. Examples: arriving early to settle, sitting rather than lying, staying near the door, bringing a companion, or having instructions in writing beforehand.
We will do what we reasonably can. If we cannot do something, we will tell you honestly rather than leave you to discover it on the day.
Telling us about a problem
If you find something on this website you cannot use, or something about the space that does not work for you, email hello@michellemurray.co.uk or call 07715 547510. We would genuinely rather know.
